Focusing on the juxtaposition of acoustic & electronic, noise & music, and its application within the re-sensitization of atmosphere, Matt Dill is currently presenting his work within the American folk circuit. A native of St. Louis, Dill now resides in Kansas City where he is finishing his debut LP, scheduled to be released through Orchid Collective in July of 2009. The LP is, according to Max Hentor, “a great conversation between the two great drives of the ‘I’, to unify and to divide, to live and to die, to cry and to eat pie, lyrically as well as instrumentally”.
